Upgrading iPhone 3GS to iOS 5.1

After reading various blogs and Q & A on different sites, I finally decided to upgrade iOS from 4.1 to 5.1.

Using iTunes I selected the update and let it do it work. After few minutes I noticed the process is complete but iTunes is telling me that “There is no SIM card installed in the iPhone you are attempting to activate.” L

To resolve I tried restarting and re-plugin but no help, then I remove the SIM and put it back in, still no clue, iTunes is giving me the same error. Finally I Google the error and found out that there are many… who face the same error and they were not able to fix the problem even they contacted their local Apple stores, this frustrates me a bit and I was thinking may be I need to go back to any mobile mall to get it fix.

But just now I get a video tutorial which describes how to fix the problem, let me go through it & let see what will be the results.
